Data Controller
(as of May 25, 2018)
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you.
Personal Data
Every time you access pages on our website, our web servers temporarily store the following information in a log file: the IP address of the requesting computer; the date and time of access; the name, URL, and amount of data transferred for the file retrieved; access status; the referrer URL; identification data for the browser and operating system used; and the requesting provider.
This information is technically necessary to correctly deliver the content you requested and is inevitably generated when using the internet. For technical security reasons, we store this data and anonymize it after a period of time by shortening the IP address at the domain level. No comparison with other data sets or disclosure to third parties takes place.
When registering for personalized services, some personal data is collected, such as name, address, phone number, and email address. You may request access, correction, or deletion of this data at any time.
For paid services, additional data such as payment information is requested.
SSL Encryption
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use encryption methods in line with the current state of the art (e.g., SSL) via HTTPS.
Newsletter & Contact Form
When subscribing to our newsletter, the data you provide is used exclusively for that purpose. We use a double opt-in process to verify a valid subscription. You may revoke your consent to storing your data at any time. When you contact us by email or contact form, the information you provide is stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry.
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies that enable analysis of your use of the website. Thanks to IP anonymization, your IP address is shortened within the EU/EEA. You can prevent the storage of cookies through your browser settings and prevent the collection of cookie-generated data via a browser add-on.
This website also uses Google’s remarketing function and conversion tracking. Conversion-tracking cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification.
Your Rights
You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored with us at any time, as well as the right to rectification, restriction, or deletion, unless a legal retention obligation applies. Please contact our data protection officer (contact details below).
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy from time to time so that it always complies with current legal requirements. The updated policy applies to any subsequent visit.

Contact via Form / Email / Fax / Post

You may object to the storage of your personal data at any time.
